Success Lessons from Henry Ford

1. Serve others.
“A business absolutely dedicated to services will have a slight concern for profit. It will be indecently big. ”
The secret to success is serving others. All successful people serve, the greater the success, the greater the service. Wealth is created from services, and comes only through services. Ford said: “Wealth, exactly, like happiness, cannot be achieved by direct search. It comes as a by-product of providing useful services. How do you serve?
2. Focus.
“There is no man who cannot achieve more than he thinks he can.”
You are completely unaware of your capabilities, so you never focus your efforts on one task. You spend an hour of your day on one thing, three hours on another thing, but you never focus your attention on one task. When you focus your life, everything impossible becomes possible. Focus, you can do more than you think you can.
3. Be productive.
“From my observations, I noticed that most people determine the time that others are wasting.”
Each of us has 24 hours a day, but only a few, using this time, succeed, the rest fail. Why it happens? The thing is that some people effectively control their time, while others are under the control of their time. Some people dictate their day, while others allow their time to dictate the direction of their movement. If you fail, you fail because you misuse your time. If you succeed, you succeed through effective time management. Are you a master of your time?
4. Solve problems.
“Most people spend a lot of time and energy going around problems and not trying to solve them.”
Be sure you will receive a reward for solving other people’s problems. But can you solve any problem? If you solve big problems, you get a big reward, if you solve small problems, you get a small reward. If you solve the problems of a small number of people, the reward will be insignificant; if you solve the problems of a huge number of people, you can become rich. Do not waste time walking around problems, solve them.
5. There is nothing particularly difficult.
“There is nothing particularly difficult if you do not share this minor work.”
Henry Ford said: “There are no big problems, there are only many small problems.” When you think about it, you can really see that in reality, there is nothing “complicated”. You climb the mountain step by step, the individual steps are not as heavy as the whole climb. Successive solution of big problems, step by step, will lead to success. Eat a whale one bite at one time, and one day it will be eaten.
6. Keep your eyes on the prize.
“The obstacles are those terrible things that you see when you take your eyes off the target.”
Never take your eyes off your target. The goal is what motivates you, what makes you keep moving towards it, regardless of any obstacles. You must constantly see who you want to become. You must see the goal already achieved, you must experience the goal achieved in your imagination.
7. Think.
“Thinking is hard work, it’s probably the reason why there are so few really thinking people.”
Thinking is how you prepare, this is hard work, this is where you find out the small nuances and “prepare” your plans. Ford said, “First of all, preparation is the secret of success.” Are you ready for success? Do you think? Thinking is hard work, but the one who has to do it must prepare for success.
